Default Hosted pictures don't go fullsize anymore? Code problem? Using postimage.org

So what changed with the forum software lately (in the past couple months) ???

I've used the same method to post my pics across several forums, and now CL is having issues interpreting the picture links..

See here (this is how I normally posted pictures)... when you click it should open a new tab to the fullsize image, but all you get is the stupid thumbnail again!

code used (ignore spaces):

[u r l=http://postimage.org/image/9oytg09ir/][i m g]http://s13.postimage.org/9oytg09ir/IMG_4432_noplate.jpg[/img]

Anyone know how I should fix this?

I suspect part of the problem is that the image you are attempting to link is directly to the thumbnail

Try it on it's own in your browser or see it linked directly below

There isn't anything to link to an image that ISN'T a thumbnail. I'd suggest just linking directly to the full size image

Thanks for your help, but I don't understand ....

The image you posted is the same thumbnail, and when you click on it, it just pops up the thumb again in the same size. I'm trying to get it to open a new tab (as it always used to do) and retrieve the full size image. The full size image would be far too large to post directly in the thread..

EDIT: see how the pictures work / link here in my thread at my.is - they used to have the exact same functionality here at CL... and I use the exact same code.

CL has software that automatically resizes images that are too large, and I suspect that is causing issue with what you are posting.

Just post the direct link to the image as I did below, and CL will automatically make it a fitted image next time you pull it up that effectively is also a thumbnail if you click it.

Again thanks for your help DaveGS4...

However, when I'm looking at what you posted (the direct full size image link)..... the picture is huge - way too large to put in my build threads without making it hard to read. Are you telling me that for you, the image you posted is showing as a thumbnail size ???
