Sounds cool, but we don't need it. I'm on an iPhone right now. Also, this isnt the right spot for this type of thread.

That's not a mobile app, it's a mobile site.

There is already a well known third party app for these forums. CL should license it. Bimmerfest and Teamspeed are using it and it's very convenient. Supports both iPhone and iPad.

 

Sorry, IB's current approach for mobile access is using the link I provided above, not via tapatalk. If that changes you'll hear about it here first

 

Guys, are you stll deciding on activating tapatalk on the forum?
It is really easy to do, but will it be done?

There are so many guy's walking around with ipad's and android tablets, and tapatalk is a prime app for browsing any forum.

 

i go to clublexus and few other forums, never needed tapatalk or whatever. i use blackberry and android. not going to waste money, ie. tapatalk

 

No not still deciding. As I posted earlier IB's approach is the current mobile access method. On my ipad2 right now and native browser works just fine for me here on CL.

 

Ok, and how did you get rid of the banners on the right side that makes all so narrow? (that is actually the only reason I asked)
I also use ipad2 so I presume we both use safari where these banners are just a pain in the...

Ok see your edit. Don't know, I browse with them there on my iPad on safari just fine and they don't bother me. Haven't really investigated adblocker for iPad yet. You could try the mobile CL version I linked above to see if it's format works better for you.

Ads pay for the site we get for free so I don't always begrudge them

 

+1 on enabling Tapatalk since CL does not have a dedicated app.

Bimmerforums has a dedicated iPhone/Android and they enabled tapatalk.

I don't want members to get their hopes up that Tapatalk is going to be an option. If it becomes one, we'll put up an announcement about it.
