A question regrading forum rules

I am going to be promoting a concert in Chicago, I plan on posting in the Chicago forum as a form of advertisement. Do I have to be a forum sponsor to do this?

Hi yes you do, thanks for asking first. We do allow some car-related events (car shows and driving events) to be posted, but that is the only exception.
