touchBB! its a great app for iphone forum browsing. beats using safari for the same thing, x1000. works very well on forums identical to CL... you guys should check it out.

We are having some issues with our Mobile Detection Product, really sorry for the delay guys!

 

I'm using Safari for the iPhone and this site works fine.

Comparing this forum to another i visit that is made for 'mobile' it is identical!

 

any word on this yet??? touchBB doesnt seem to work on my iphone keeps saying no connection.. and tapatalk cant find clublexus

 

there's "no connection" because they haven't added the code to allow use with touchbb yet. it won't just work without it bro.

and to the guy that said it "works fine" on safari for iPhone... you obviously haven't tried browsing or posting on vbulletins with touchbb.. in comparison safari can get right in the garbage in regards to speed and ease of use. even with my 32gb 3gs it's just clunkier and way more time consuming pinching and scrolling like a spaz when the other app puts the sites into a format even more simplified and easier to use then "mobile" platforms in safari. they have a free version of touchbb. download it and try it out with a site like vipstylecars, it's a good app.

 

As a webmaster, i've installed tapatalk onto my phpBB sites and i've been extremely happy with it, so have our users.

I hope clublexus can get it happening on here, i'd be on the site 24/7!

 

So what will it take to get it going with tapatalk?

 

Gosh....my eyes hurt from pinching and zooming. Any updates? Just implementing Tapatalk would have been so easy. Sigh

 

^ that is why I'm waiting for the new iPhone, better resolution = less zooming.

 

same goes for touchBB. the dudes in charge of this stuff just don't wanna budge. two seconds to add the .php. none of the other boards running this have suffered catastrophic failure, and it's free. oh well.

 

We have had issue after issue recently, but this is still number one on the list. I wish i had more solid news, but I don't have a release date yet.

We won't be adding any third party solutions to the site, only to remove them in say a month when ours is ready. Hopefully this is understandable.

Any updates? Is this solution being installed addressing only iPhone browsers or all mobile browsers such as Android, Blackberry, etc?

 

The hell with Tapatalk, and mobile version.
