Maybe I'm just lazy and didn't search, but have we thought about adding a *Spoiler* feature here?

I know some forums have a feature where you can write something, and make it hidden until someone clicks on it. For example if you want it to be known, but people who wish to spoil it to themselves for the outcome can click on it.

Just wondering if we have one on the way, or already have one and I just don't know about it. Thanks.

That'd be the ignore button.

Isn't ignore just pertaining to ignoring a persons post? If so I don't mean it like that. I've seen it in other forums; best way to describe it for example: We have an awesome movie thread, some people have seen the movie others haven't. You would be able to write what you thought about the movie and what parts you liked best in the "Spoiler" part, and it would be hidden to everyone, except with a tab that says "Spoiler". If they clicked the tab, it would show what you had hidden. So it doesn't hide the users entire post, but whatever they don't want to "Spoil".

Sounds like a neat feature - if you want to post a link to a forum that has it will look at it and see if I can get some info. but probably not something we'll end up adding as it increases difficulty when upgrading to new versions, long term cost, etc.

As an alternative you can add a *** spoiler warning*** in the title, potentially use background text the same color as the page so you have to highlight to see it, or do a

'don't scroll down if you don't want to see the spoiler approach.

Hmmm I might just do the text color same as background. I forgot what forums i've been in where they've done it, I don't remember the format either, random google forums when I've had PC troubles or other such searches.

I just figured it was a nifty feature to have, to get rid of having "warning spoilers" tags, and you could basically scroll through without worry of having anything spoil the topic for ya.
