Default Carson vs. Sewell?

I have seen a lot of info here and there on both of these guys, but was wondering which is better on price, service, etc?

Also, does CL have contact people at each or is it just a cold call type of deal?

This will get moved because it's in the wrong section, but i think that carson is way better in customer service. I had a pry tool from sewell i ordered and it took them about 3 months to ship it. In between those times they never called once.

I never had a problem with carson.

Prices on the other hand depend what the both of them are selling. Sewell sells more of the OEM type products. F-sport, OEM GFX, etc. Carson more on the aftermarket side.

I've ordered from both in the past and have had nothing but great esperiences with both. Everything orderd was shipped right away. Prices are usually comparable, it just depends on what you're looking for.

You can find contact information by going through the Vendor classifieds section, there is usually something on sale from Carson and Sewell. You can make a post and wait for a reply.

I've bought from both and can highly recommend either vendor. Carson is in CA and Sewell is in TX, if it makes a logistical difference for you. As previously stated, Carson has more hard to get AM JDM items, and Sewell is competitive on OEM parts & accessories. If you had an issue with Sewell, you need to contact Darrell, he's always come thru for me in the past.

I've bought from both and they have both been great to me. I prefer Carson only because they are closer and I can pick things up locally.

I got aggravated with Carson because they no longer stocked a part I was looking for and found on their web site. I have placed 4-5 orders from Sewell and have had nothing but a great service. They price match other Lexus dealers and credited me for a part I had ordered after I received it and found a better price later. I really like them. My 2 cents.

BTW - I love what you GS Guys do to your cars - Capital "A - Awesome!
