Default GS 3rd gen suspension forum

Can the suspension forums be separated for the 3rd gen. Searching is so old school. Isn't it like the 90's yet or somthing? Thanks

I agree with a separate suspension section. One of these days I am going to upgrade my 3GS suspension to BMW-like standard. I would love to be able to go right to the information without a prolonged search.

We'll take a look at the activity in the 3GS to see if there has been enough traffic to separate. When I set it up initially posts were pretty low and there weren't many suspension mods out there for the 3GS.

The downside is that it takes a pretty significant amount of moderator work to maintain... I'd guess less than 50% of members will actually post in the suspension subforum, requiring moderators to move the posts most of the time.

PS If there is enough volume to warrant a new sub-forum, you'll still have to search the suspension subforum to find a specific topic

If no one else is available, I'll moderate the section.

i kind of agree with dave, actually a lot of the posts now are suspension / brakes / wheels related. if there are more performance related threads then having sub-forums might make more sense
