Site donation questions
Site donation questions
Is there a link or location for people that want to donate to the site? The reason I am asking, is I want to sell a few items but dont necessarily need the money for them. So I thought if someone wanted the items, they could donate to the site instead of giving me the money.
I run a few forums myself and understand about the costs, so I am always willing to help other sites out, when I can.

Appreciate the consideration, but our current business model is driven via advertising and our forum vendor sponsors. A few years in the past we had premium memberships available for a donation and that might come back at some point (bundling benefits with it) but not right now.
If you want to give back to the community, suggest you donate the items to a local CL meet as door prizes / giveaways to increase the draw for the meet.

Thanks for the heads up, as I tried to search and didnt find this answer. Now I guess I need to see if there are any swap meets or shows near my area. Heck, if I can get a couple guys around this area, I could set up my own!

Yeah unfortunately I am on the other side of TN, western TN (memphis area). But I know the dragon all too well as I have been a sport bike rider for well over 15 years along with road racing, when I could. I still might try to make one, as that area is worth the drive.
