saw this ad tonite when i was viewing a gas sipper thread in car chat

the banner was saying "Amazing Free Report shows you how you can Double the MPG on any vehicle, Guaranteed!" or something like that

Doesn't look like a "scam" to me, but certainly questionable advertising for what probably is a pamphlet that says "put a bike in your trunk and ride it halfway".

I'll report it to see if we can't get it blocked.

Internet brands is working to get this restricted. They did request we pass along a bit more info that will help google block it for us.

If you (or anyone) sees this come up again, can you please record as much info on the advertisement and link?

Copy of the 'creative' (right click save as aka the graphic), the URL it links to (right click, properties, address) and the website it goes to when you click on it.

Thank you! We've also reported an issue this morning with some strange pop up ads and they've reached out to the (external) advertising folks responsible to get them stopped already.

I think some of these questionable ads occur when Internet Brands is working on our ad selection and then they drop off, but the gas scam one is supposed to be fully blocked as of a few weeks ago. I've just sent that one off too.
