I need an answer ASAP!!!!!!!
So I get an Email from a customer of mine telling me that they posted a thread about Advanced Automotive Concepts and my product and then they got an infraction for it, why? Your telling me that every single user on this forum that makes a post about a certain company gets an infraction OR was it just because of the recent trouble I got into for soliciting which I was totally cool with since I unknowingly broke the rules. If you think for any reason I had this guy do this for my company, think again, we are venders on SELOC.net, my.is.com, 300cforums.com, LXforums.com, SRT8oc.com, and are about to be on my350z.com aswell. Also we are talking to the right people on this forum to become one on here too(just need some time). I just don't unerstand why this guy was singled out. Can some one explain this to me? IF their is a good reason for it then I will understand but as of right now I don't. I tried doing a search for it to see what was said exactly(maybe the way the worded it) but can't find it since I guess the mod deleted it.

I wouldn't sweat it man, if you're not a sponsor, you shouldn't be pushing products anyways
I'm fine with that and I understand that. But I had no contact with this guy/girl who did this. I don't even know their username. I got in trouble for what I did and thats cool but don't take it out on my customers who only did what everyone else does all day long, thats complete BS!

I ask next time you please send a PM instead of making such an angry and misguided public post. Maybe gather some more information from "your customer" about exactly what they did before lashing out. You are way off base on your assumptions and this issue had nothing to do with your recent 'promotional' problems.
The member was not simply 'posting a thread about AAC', they specifically posted in the 2IS forum organizing a group buy for halos. The infraction has absolutely nothing to do with AAC; in fact AAC wasn't even mentioned until well later in the thread and so were other competing vendors like Umnitza.
Neither of these companies are currently CL approved vendors and we did inform the member of this fact as they specifically mentioned AAC later in the post as hosting the GB. He was gathering interest for a GB without a sponsor or approval, and later specifically with a non-approved vendor.... sorry, no can do.
Our forum rules are VERY clear regarding group buys and the member that posted the thread broke those rules that they agreed to follow when they joined Club Lexus. They got an infraction to document the GB issue and to reinforce that the thread should not be re-posted after it was moved out of the main forums.
Here is the specific rule they broke:

The issue was explained in detail to the member and if they didn't pass the details of the issue along to you, well I guess you can complain to them about the lack of information you got second hand.
There are dozens of posts out there from our members about AAC, Umnitza, etc products, what looks good and doesn't, whether they belong only on a BMW or are OK on a Lexus, problems or success stories, etc etc etc. These posts aren't closed or deleted - its perfectly OK for our members to talk about these products or vendors and share their experience and knowledge even if they aren't CL vendors.
Only when a vendor breaks the rules and tries to take advantage of our forum for promotional purposes or advertising / soliciation OR when unauthorized GBs are organized do threads get closed. This is only fair to our forum and the sponsors that pay each month to keep it up and running free of charge to our members.

Cherplex, please stop with the constant peanut gallery. I've only asked you be more polite instead of riding the new folks and IMO honestly "looking down" on other members who don't have a turbo 2jz. That isn't so much to ask IMO... how about supporting the entire community for once instead of always taking pot shots at it.

Group Buys
Group Buys (GB) are allowed ONLY in conjunction with a Club Lexus authorized vendor. ‘Gathering interest’ group buy posts are also not allowed without the prior support of an authorized Club Lexus vendor which can be coordinated directly through the vendor or requested of moderators or the forum administrator. Linking to group buys sponsored by non-CLUB LEXUS vendors or on other forums is not allowed.
Inappropriate GB posts will be promptly closed or removed without notice.

My last post was made public and so I thought I should make this one public too. I apologize to CL for my assumptions. Like I said in my last post if a justifiably excuse was given then I could understand why. I said that and I ment that. Well since they were tring to start a GB then of course they broke the rules. I should of checked with them more throughly then just jump to conclusions. I've had enough drama here lately and really didn't need to add to it.
Dave, the reason I didn't PM you is because I was not sure which mod/admin did it.
