private message tracking not working?

Default private message tracking not working?

ever since the update my private message tracking option no longer works... did i miss something?

you have to click the option below the private msging window....

check the little box under the submit button that says "Request a read receipt for this message"

i am an idiot. i didn't even see that... it used to be automatically done (at least for me)

hmm... so now we have to check off that we want the "read receipt" in order for the tracking thing to work

Yes. Most messages sent don't require a return receipt and it's standard in pretty much message (email) system I use that you have to proactively request a return receipt if you want one... it is not the default.

I don't see this default changing on our forum as it impacts our system resources, so I'd suggest getting used to checking the box if you want a read receipt
