Why does the CL bleeper / censor asterisk ( * * * * ) out the nickname for Richard when you try to use it? ( D i c k ) ? ( notice I had to leave spaces for it to work )
There are many people in the world with this name, and I don't see any legitimate reason why we can't type it out normally on the CL forums without the censors bleeping it out. Please adjust the bleeper as needed. If there is a reason why this cannot be done please explain.

Because far more people use it in anger to call out others than use it for the abbreviated name.

Just type Rick Cheney and move on

 

Unlike some people, I've never used that word in an obscene manner....I don't believe in that. But...OK....at your suggestion I'll use the name Rick or use spaces, but it of course affects more than just VP Cheney.
