oh okay..thank god. I thought I had a virus or something. I would get an error message, then get booted. Not a big fan of the intellitext stuff, but I shall see how I like it when its all done.

I was madly looking for spyware in my computer when I started seeing these weird links on both CL and my.is last night. Thank goodness it isn't spyware, not a local one at least.

Oh well, if it's what keeps the forums running I guess I'll just have to live with it.

Why not just setup google adsense for CL? Intelitext crashes my IE.

I read over on Supraforums that the forum gets around $700 for using the intellitext software. If the forum members can come up with this cash, can we refrain from using the software?

Im not a big fan of it all over the place... It might curtail my CL time because of it, every post has a link.

What makes you think CL would also get $700? There are a lot more Lexus owners out there than Supra owners.

I noticed it tonight, too, for the first time......both in my own and in some of Henry's posts.....green type with underlines.

You get the general idea. Alot of CL members are willing to pay for membership and getting rid of these green underlines would be a worthwhile cause. We raise how ever much money this company is paying CL to get rid of this feature.

Reminds me of the two old ladies eating lunch:
Lady #1: "The food here is awful!"
Lady #2: "Yes, and such small portions, too..."

I'm glad to find this, I just finished doing 3 cleans on my pc thinking and looking for a virus to find it was just on CL, than I find this thread It doesn't bother me and doesn't make my pc slower but I can understand everyone complaining if its making things slower or harder.

I agree with you. Only came into this sub-forum to see if others noticed this spam.

Default Ya get what you pay for....

It is far from Spam, and I'm going to predict the future- just like every other change we computer / internet / discussion forum users have had to deal with since Bill Gates still had acne, this too will fade into the background of our screens and we will soon ignore it, or at the very least, not mind it.

Compared to some of the other stuff not so easily ignored (like idiots who title their threads with just a "please help", or something equally insipid), seeing a bunch of words with double-underlines is pretty tame.
