Default My new guages

GOt my new guages from lextech they look great with the blue backlight and the white needles
BUT only my speed and RPM are correct now! the temp and gas are of the chart, it's freakin rediculous. Anyone else have this problem? I know lextech is suposed to calibrate the guages not F*** them up. whats goin on?

Had we known you were the type to not ASK before going on a posting spree complaining we'd probably not have done your gauges.

How about the novel idea of ASKING questions about your cluster BEFORE going into a forum and saying things like " I know lextech is suposed to calibrate the guages not F*** them up".

FYI, YOU are supposed to do final calibration on your gas and temp because your car's gas and temp sensors are DIFFERENT from car to car. All you had to do was write us and ASK and we'd have told you to warm your car up to full operating temprature and then place the needle where it should be.

Try some communication skills, we only build 30 units per week here.

Just warm the car up and place the temp where it should read. We have already done the balancing on them, so it'll stay where it should. First stage calibration has already been done.

On the fuel, when you remove the needle, pop that copper plate off the back. Then stick it back on where it should be. Our initial calibration covers it good enough to get "close", if any inconsistencies are noticed, this finishes the job This generally only applies to fuel and temp. Tach and speedo are always the same sensors from car to car. Rarely does one of the larger needles get knocked off center in shipping. (which is just a "put it back on straight" fix.)

We somehow find time to answer 1200 questions through pm, email, etc... per week while hand building 30 + units..... We only want people to know we are very good at making sure thigns are well. You just gotta ASK
