Default We need a seperate sub forum in the classifieds!

Has anyone noticed the amount of WTB's - want to buys - in the classifieds. Lately it's just gotten ridiculous. I counted 13 on the first page in the GS forum alone! It's just very cluttered, and it's annoying when trying to scroll through and look for parts. Others forums separate the two - Parts wanted and Parts for sale. It makes it easier. Just an idea. Thanks.

Thinking about it and have posted the question to the moderator team.

Definitely see the volume of WTBs up right now, but they aren't ususally that bad.

Advantage of keeping them together:
1) Better visibility of WTB for sellers. Knowing my surfing habits, I won't browse a WTB forum because I don't think its interesting... I MAY stumble across something I have to sell browsing a combined classifieds that somebody needs.

2) I have a feeling it will create a lot of 'moved post' work for the classified moderators, and that section already takes a lot of oversight.

Advantage of sep forum
1) Organization - keep all the for sales together and WTB together.

... will keep working on the list and let you know, thanks for the good idea! ...

Dave.... Supraforums has this and it is a nice feature... Sellers can scroll thru and help locate potential buyers...
I think even Ebay has this as well..
I do agree however that some of our members will still post in the wrong forum creating alot of additional work for the mods....

Hey just thought I would bring this back to light...

When I just looked at the 2nd Gen GS classifieds, of the 30 posts on the first page, it was dead even. 15 selling and 15 wtb/trade.

Good day!

That's about a two year cycle for a lot of WTBs to show up j/k

Thanks for your continued feedback, but for now we're going to keep the WTB and WTT with the for sale items, organized by model.
