Default Vendor Group Buy idea...

I was thinking maybe there can be a sticky or some type of thread where members can post what they are seriously interesed in purchasing in the near future. That way, vendors can start group buys based on the most popular items requested. I think this will be beneficial to both the members and the vendors.

Just a thought.

Not a bad idea, hmmm. How would we keep it from getting old (people already bought item, etc) and the vendor offer a GB on stuff that folks aren't interested in?

Just trying to figure out the logistics of it.

Maybe a poll? Eitehr the vendor or the people can poll what they want. We can even put an ending date on the poll.

Man, I posted this and totally forgot that I posted it. I think a poll or some sort of thread/sticky with an end date would be good. The advantage of a poll would be the results can be easily viewed. In order to generate enought interest, maybe having a quarterly poll as opposed to a monthly poll will give members the opportunity to save up or get their finances ready.
