Since we now have two dedicated CA forums...wouldn't it be better to just omit CA from the Pacific thread description?

BTW, the Pacific forums look dead now that Eric moved most of the threads.

 

The sub-forums are really meant to be used as an activity forum for 'clubs' and are not meant to replace the regions, although they do serve a lot of the same purpose from a member organization perspective.

We can put up an annoucement directing folks to the new forums in the Pacific forum directing the CA folks to the sub-forums assuming there is no specific membership critera (e.g. all are welcome) in the clubs. Also, there are areas of California that don't really fall into Norcal and Southern (interior, Sierra, etc.) that we would not want to exclude.

The organization will be a little more apparent after the upgrade as these areas will be in the same group / page.
