Weird, just surfing late at night with my mail box open, new mail arrives, and heres an e-mail from

webmaster@clublexus.com

and what was weirder, it had a file attached called party.doc.exe.

My suspicions were correct and It was infected with a virus. Don't know if a webmaster of CL got infected and it started sending out random e-mails?

Just wondering if it was me, or a webmaster.

Guess I'll have to run a full sweep on my computer now... sigh

 

Yes that is a virus and if you detached and opened it you definitely need to scan your system.

The virus email isn't really from a ClubLexus account (our member email addresses are not stored in a traditional address book that allows this), it's a 'spoof' email that mimics email addresses / domains.

 

Yeah, I already scanned and deleted all the stuff. Just making sure it wasn't one of the webmasters infected and sending out virus e-mails to members.

 

I have tried 4 times to contact you. Why has it failed every time?
