Looks like we have the option to delete pics in the Edit Photo section....but I tried "checking" the delete photo button....then submitting it...but it says I dont have authority to delete the pic.

Is that right?

Why can't we delete are own pics that we uploaded?

We've tried to enable that feature but it doesn't work for some reason.

Maybe when we upgrade that will be fixed (hopeful).

CL should really look into allowing members to delete their own pics (again).

It just doesn't work right now and there is nothing I can do about it, sorry. Believe me I dislike having to delete everybody's pictures MUCH more than anyone else . The process is single threaded and stupid, especially when I have to do them one at a time.

 

Actually with a list this big, I'm going to ask you to wait until the upgrade - as well as everyone else - until we get the gallery fixed for self service.

Unless there is valid & defendable need (posted pic with license plate showing and need to fix it, author of the photo asked you to pull down, against CL rules for NWS pictures, etc) members will need to wait until we can complete the CL & gallery upgrade for photos to be deleted.

If you have individiual (aka not a large list of photos) that you feel meet the requirements, please PM me with the link including the full gallery URL and a brief reason why the image needs to come down.

Apologies for the inconvenience this technical problem has caused, but it is taking a bit too much administrative time right now.
