2019 UX250h clicking noise when brake apply.
He everyone. Please help. I have 2019 ux250h with 59k miles on it. For last 2 years I always change oil, filters, tires rotations never have any issues. Completed alignment once and still on original tires.
My problem is when I apply brake from any speed around 45mph till full stop driver front wheel make a clicking noice. Like tik-tik-tik. I check all brakes, wheels, axle outer and inner and nuts. But if on any speed if I switch to neutral and apply brakes no noice what so ever. Any advice fox.

Hard to diagnose over the internet. Can you post a video?
Could be anything from a rock in the dust shield/rotor area or an axle that is drying up. It sort of sounds like a dry axle/cv joint. But again seeing a video would help.
Any change when you brake hard vs. brake lightly?
Had a similar noise on my CT. Click click click under light braking next to a wall. Heard priuses do it too. removed outer CV boot, repacked with grease, reclamped, noise went away. Verifiable and repeatable in both situations. confirmed fix.

Not sure if it's an axle click - like E46CT said, hard to diagnose without a video of sorts.
Only mentioning the axle click as it is a prevalent 'issue' on the s2000 forums and I remember doing that with mine early on and it fixed said issue.

Gotcha, I only ask due to reading somewhere that on hybrids it's not recommended to put the car in neutral (other than when shifting to Park, Reverse, etc.) and that leaving it in neutral may drain the hybrid battery... or something like that.

I wanted to touch base regarding an my issue I've been experiencing with my car. Currently, it has around 120,000 miles on it. There's a persistent noise coming from the front driver's side. It sounds like it could be related to the drive axle, but despite thorough checks, I haven't been able to pinpoint the exact cause.
Even after every oil changes and thorough shaking of the car to identify the source, the noise persists. It's not getting louder, but it's definitely there.
Any insights or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
