ISC with exterior amd interior lighted door handles
Greetings,
This past weekend, I added lights to both the exterior and interior door handles. Overall, the exterior mod was MUCH easier due to not having to fish a wire through the rubber hose into the footwell. Here are some pics:
Exterior:
Isc exterior door light
ISC with LS460 interior door cup lights
if anyone is contemplating the exterior door light, it is quite easy to do and difficult to mess up on provided you don't have a fear of drilling a hole into your door handle

Apologize for the delayed response:
I followed the following instructions:
https://www.clublexus.com/forums/is-...-cup-leds.html
https://www.clublexus.com/forums/gs-...r-handles.html
The exterior lights are mounted by drilling a hole through the interior plastic and sealing with silicon:
If you're planning on doing the interior handle light, the only additional tip I would add is to use a 10mm wrench to remove the bolt that prevents the door from swinging all the way open. This will give you plenty more space to work with when going through the rubber boot. Also, remove the lower speaker so you can use that as an access point for the hole going out the door.
