Default Auxiliary cable for iPhone in 2007?

I just bought a used Lexus RX350 (2007) and want to be able to stream music but there is no auxiliary cable, just a CD PLAYER ( no navigation ) I actually like the stereo and stock stereos are not often stolen. Is there any way to plug in auxiliary cable? Is there a port behind the stereo? I don’t want to buy a whole new stereo just to stream music.

Thanks for your time, and sorry if it is a dumb question.

Look into grom audio, or viastech. I started off using grom in all my cars. Have now switched to viastech, just more intuitive, connects faster, les quirky, but also more expensive. Both have several different types of products to help you out.

When I bought my 07, it came with an interface for an iPod that the previous owner had installed. I don't use Apple so I removed it.

It consists of:

- iSimple gateway, model PXAMG
- interface cable PGHTY1 for Toyota, Lexus, Scion
- interface cable for iPod (11.5 ft/3.5 meters long)
- documentation

This unit can support bluetooth, HD radio and satellite radio if optional cables are purchased.

If you want, research this to see if it will support your iPhone. If it does, I'll send it to you if you pay the shipping.

The cassette adaptor is a good idea. I used one for my Sirius radio. But be aware that the sound you get from using one of those can be terrible. I tried several adaptors before I got one that gave good sound.

I think I am actually just going to install an inexpensive removable faceplate stereo. I can do it for less than 200 at Best Buy, they will install for free. The way they make their money is on the attachments. The adapter to the stereo is 99.99. And the faceplate is 49.99. If you buy a stereo there they install for free plus the price of the stereo. But then you pay 150.00 for the extras.

But the tech told me they price match. So I got the face plate for 15.00 instead of 49.99 and I found the harness for 54.99 and showed him both websites. So out the door I will have a removable face stereo for around 200.00 installed with a warranty.

I appreciate everyone’s help. Maybe it will help you guys to know they price match all that crap.

Here is the receipt. I could not do it any cheaper if I did it myself.

If you pm me your email, I will send you a digital copy of my dystopian novel of you are into that stuff. Not bragging, not even mentioning the name. No plugs! Just appreciate the offer.

The face plate, then harness.
