Default iphone and 2007 es 350

Anyone know how to play music from the iphone through the lexus es 350 speakers? Has anyone been successful in getting the iphone to work. My iphone works great with the phone/navigation system, but I want to also play my stored music through the car speakers.

There's a auxillary input (1/8" stereo phono jack) in the center console arm rest. Plug your iPhone into it and change the radio input to AUX.

Thanks Robert. I picked up an audio cord from Apple and plugged it into the console and into the headset jack on the iphone. I thought I changed the mode to aux, but I'll check again. Any other thoughts would be welcome.

I don't know if you figured this out yet... so if not here's my 2 cents worth. The connector in your car (if anything like my '07 IS 250) is a 1/8" jack. Hopefully Apple sold you the right connector cord (which is actually smaller than a 1/8"), but Apple made the input on the iPhone smaller than on the iPods and provides new headphones with the smaller male end. You actually need an adapter for the audio cord that accepts the 1/8" and narrows it down for the iPhone input. The other end will still fit the car input. I just figured all this out a few days ago when I got my iPhone. My old video iPod played fine, but the iPhone wouldn't and after investigation I determined that it was the size of the input.

(Btw... I just recently spent $300 for Shure ear buds because I'm a professional musician and I'm a little peeved that Apple changed the size of the input... now I have to carry around that adapter too unless I want to use the poor sound quality stock earbuds) Good luck.

I work for a lexus service center and had a customer call and ask if the iphone would work with bluetooth on a 08 is350 we didnt have this is350 but we had my co-workers 08 es350 awd and used my iphone perfectly, but please note he had the ipod kit installed on his es already. The only downside is that when u plug up the iphone to the connector the phone says "this accesory is not made to work with iphone, would u like to go to airplane mode?"if you hit "NO" and try to use ipod feature it works perfectly.
