Help! 2004 GS430 AC Problems
Need some help from the Lexus collective. I just picked up a 2004 GS430. In fantastic shape and runs great with 138K miles.
Problem is the AC. I have one with a NAV unit. I get the "Please Check the connection to the Air Conditioner" message. The AC will run and blows cold but the system will randomly shut off, and change from recirculate to vent. All other functions of the NAV unit work correctly.
I have replaced the AC relay and that did not help. I have read about AC Amplifiers and new NAV units as the fix. I really don't want to start throwing parts at this just yet. I did remove the NAV unit and all of the harness connections look to be good.
I would even consider swapping out to a different non-NAV units or one of the Android screens...but that may not fix the AC problem.
Thank you all for any help!

As an update. This morning I started the car up and I am getting the "Check Air Conditioning Connection."
None of the climate control functions are working now.
Nav and radio are still working as they should.
