Default 99 gs400 a/c compressor

Hello forum, I have a 99 GS4. That is in need of a new ac compressor. Are there any other models interchange with mine. I would buy a new one, but I have
316k miles and she running strong. From my limited knowledge of searching, it looks as tho the GS430 is the same. Just, wanted to ask you guys before I buy one.
Thanks for the help

Not sure if this answers your question, yet the Denso 471-1343 fits the '98-'00. So any of those years would work... didn't take the time to get the Denso unit for the '01+, to see what the next year range was.

How was the compressor diagnosed as being bad?

If you look under the Denso A/C unit information you will see :

Alternate/OEM Part Number(s): 255725, 4471702801, 4471707130, 4471904560, 4472600751, 4710281, 4710343, 883103A290, 883103A291, 883103A292, 883203A170, 883203A230, 883203A231

If you have a particular Toyota/Lexus vehicle in mind just compare the number sbagdon mentioned or one of the alternate part numbers.

Wow, cool feature on that RockAuto web page... by clicking on the url above, the Denso part number matches. Then, if you click the Denso part number hyperlink, a popup appears that shows all the applications that use that part number... that's invaluable, if you're hunting for a part from a salvage yard, yet you have a make/model/year that the yard doesn't see much of, and can pull it off another car... cool, thx!

BTW, that a/c compressor part number is good for:

GS400 1998-2000
GS430 2001-2005
SC430 2006-2010

Might be more cost effective to get it rebuilt.
