Back in April, I purchased a 2014 crafted line with 32k miles for the wife. I liked her car so much, that I decided to replace my 2017 wrx with a 2011 ls with 73k miles. So, we now have his and hers ls460s.

Congrats on the 2nd LS. I might suggest that you rearrange things in the garage so that you can get both in the garage?

Congrats, even though you have 2 LS460, they are still pretty different in many ways from interior and exterior styling one being pre 2013 and the other post 2013.

Typo! It's a 2015.
I love the styling of these cars. I think the Crafted Line looks badass. I love the two-tone interior, as well. It feels and looks special to me. The Deep Sea Mica, on the other hand, just looks classic to me. I have always loved the look of a shiny, dark-colored car and chrome. This one fits the bill, especially since my favorite color is blue.
Paint correction on these two cars will be my summer project. The Crafted Line has more than a few rock chips I would like to fix, a couple of dings for PDR, as well as a few scratches I can buff out. The Deep Sea Mica car has fewer scratches and rock chips and mostly just needs a polish to remove the swirl marks. It also has two wheels with some wicked, and unrepairable, curb rash. I'll be looking to replace those this summer, as well.

I agree I love my Deep Sea Mica Blue LS. When she is all nice and clean she can take your breath away.

I went from a 2011 LS460 AWD (same color as yours) to a 2016 WRX (dark blue too). Now I'm back in a 2103 LS460 AWD. My WRX was manual too and I used to commute through NYC traffic, so I know the struggle. It feels so good to be back in a LS again. Sometimes I miss the WRX, it was kinda fun. When I returned it to the dealership the engine died 1/4 mile from the entrance (was ticking for a week), barely made it into the spot in front (never modified, only audio upgraded). Their warranty took care of everything and no excessive wear and tear charges at the end. Much happier to be back in an LS, and same color too!

Nice. My WRX was a compromise. I need a 4 door vehicle for the family and I wanted a fun car under $30k. That was it, and it was kinda fun, but it was a letdown compared to my turbo Miata. Driving my wife's LS quickly made me realize I was commuting in the wrong kind of car. I have a much more relaxed commute now.
