I wonder how the LC is fitted out? Perf package? Tires?
Anyway, the Civic on a shorter and tighter track has many advantages over the huge LC.
Not to mention simply the driver.

Here we go again, How many time do Lexus have to say it, the LC500 is a luxury coupe grand tourer, NOT a track sports car, put the Honda type R up against the new lexus RC-F track edition which has been designed for track purposes and let see what happens.

Its like comparing an orange with a banana and complaining that the banana is too long or the orange too round.
OK, that's not funny.

Dumbest comparaison that Chris as ever done...and I really like the guy! WTF? I will bet Chris my own car that 0% of LC owners ever considered buying three Type R's instead of one LC.

You can tell at 4:25 the driver of the Lexus hits the brakes hard, just before the curve, to transfer all the weight to the front, Then he punches the throttle and puts the car into a drift. That wouldn't have happened in a real race. Cool video though.

I wouldn't buy any Honda Type R either currently. Maybe a few decades ago when I was much younger (but I don't think these were available back in the late 70's or 80's? As I recall back in the late 80's, these Honda's were rust buckets. As Honda HQ was trying to roll out the new Acura name, Honda HQ was offering like $3500 for ANY Honda's for them to "buy back" so no rusty Honda's will be out on the road!!!).

Relax!! people he was just showing the the potential of the two cars. The LC500 simply has more beauty than performance. IMO
