Wow, this is the highest mileage SC430 I’ve seen to date. While they don’t show the maintenance records, it’s nice to know the car is capable of reaching this mileage.

My1991 LS400 reached 343K miles when I sold it in 2011 with original engine and trans. My most abusive driving 07 Corolla is currently 286K miles, and will reached 300K by this summer, original engine and trans . My wife's 07 Prius was sold two months ago with 260K miles on the odometer.
Toyota reliability. No one can beat.!

I once saw a review for an SC430 with 421,000 miles...I grabbed a screen shot of it from Cars.com a while ago. One of the reasons I purchased our '02 SC430 was the reliability of my '99 GS400...232k and shows no signs of stopping.

Wow tex, you must have REALLY believed that LS400 to be solid to have sold it to a relative!

Interesting post, 4210,000 miles in 11 years of ownership, assuming April 29, 2013 is accurate. Doing simple math that is about 38,273 miles per year or 104 miles per day per calendar year. If only driven on weekdays, let's say as a commuter, that's about 147 miles/day. I'm sure it's a combination of weekend and weekday driving, but none the less it's a lot of highway driving no matter how this is sliced.

Just purchased 2002 w/ 347,000
Just purchased a Single owner 2002 SC430; it had the engine replaced w/ a used Japanese import, and needed a few little tune ups, but my repair guy (Toyota/Honda specialist) says the only give-away of its mileage is the odometer reading- it honestly handles pretty impeccably. I know I need to stay on top of maintenance but I do not feel like this car is even hinting at the end of its life.
got it with an insurance payout from a total loss- honestly figured I’d cast a wide net- buying a car with such high mileage (while cost effective) certainly feels RISKY, but I truly fell in love with the car, nothing else was comparable. The concern for the mileage has lessened by the day after a good inspection, light repairs and getting to know the ins and outs.
(Definitely looking to replace the navigation with something that is up to date/iPhone capable/integrates a backup cam- another post I guess)
Just felt the urge to share my proud/
recent entry into the high mileage club
