You can get a set of OEM ones for less than $150 for the pair. Why do anything else?

OEM is the best but Moog is at the top of the list coming in at a close 2nd place imo. Moog is nice because they have a grease fitting but if you take your Lexus to different places when you get your oil change or service done who knows what type of grease they use or even if they grease them at all.

If the moogs are not made in Japan, dont get them. I had some that were made in Indonesia lasted about 15k. They were very loose when I took them out.

Get OEM on ebay.

wise choice. Get moog with Japan stamp. I cannot vouch for the Indonesian product. Nothing magical about the oem joints.

Agreed with everyone who said to go OEM. I used to swear by Moog. The pair I installed earlier this year(made in Indonesia), developed a bad creaking/popping sound while turning within less than 1k miles. Swapped them out for new OEM ones and have been problem free since.

When Moog started to use lower cost cheap overseas manufacturing, their quality went down when they did this. Some got lucky and some did not as the same part would not be consistent on quality depending on where it was made.

I am running Moog inner tie rods on my Lexus. They are "Made in Japan" but just be aware of the country of origin when you parts arrive because this problem is across the board with Moog parts for other vehicles as well.

I have seen a German brand called MEYLE popping up lately on the different sites. Toyolex on eBay sells parts from them and stand by their quality. They are reasonably priced and seems to well made. I will do some more research on this brand.

I’ll put it this way: OEM is the only guarantee it’ll last.

Sankei 555 or oem. Like others have said, moog is not what they used to be.....unless you get lucky and get a pair that were made in Japan.
