Post what? Your post is empty. Also "totaled" is defined by your state laws.

I don't think a bumper is considered a total loss. See this: https://www.dmv.org/tn-tennessee/salvaged-vehicles.php

"

What Is a Salvage Car in Tennessee?

In Tennessee, you have a salvaged car (or total loss) if:
  • Your insurance company determines your vehicle is so damaged, the repair costs exceed the vehicle’s actual cash value.
    • Typically, coverage providers will call a car a total loss if the damage exceeds 75% of the actual cash value.
    AND
  • The car is under 10 years old.
If you believe your vehicle could qualify as a total loss, you’ll need to file a total loss claim with your insurance carrier. Ultimately, your insurance provider will decide whether your car meets the criteria for TN salvaged vehicles.

The whole bumper and truck is smooshed in and the passenger quarter panel is dented a little bit. It looks pretty bad to me like more than just a bumper but again that’s why I’m asking you guys I have no idea. I was hit pretty hard, I’m worried their may be structural/frame damage.

Sorry to see that - Hope you're ok...According to your state's DMV, it looks like if the damage is greater than 75% of the value they consider it a total loss: https://www.dmv.org/tn-tennessee/salvaged-vehicles.php

If you have a 2013, its probably worth anywhere between $15k-$20k trade-in depending on condition/mileage/options. Just eyeballing the damage you need a lot of new rear end components - obvious things like bumper/bumper absorber/impact bar/trunk lid but not as obvious things could be damaged that are expensive such as muffler components/parking sensors.

So did you schedule the adjuster to examine the car? The adjuster can estimate the damage and costs to repair, then TN laws come into play as eddie and Alex posted, the consumer has very little input in determining whether a vehicle is totaled or not.

Thanks for the input guys! I’m fine just a little sore. I couldn’t get a hold of anyone today with it being Sunday but I am going to first thing tomorrow morning and see if we can get all resolved.

It looks pretty bad. I would say it’s close to being totaled if it is not already.

In your state of Tennessee if the car has a value of [say] $20,000 you need the repair costs to exceed $15,000 for it to be considered 'totaled'. If it was mine I personally would hope that it is considered totaled so I wouldn't have to deal with having it repaired and all the crap that goes with such repairs, not to mention the time it takes to have it repaired.

Looks like they need to pull the rear lower trunk dent out with a body puller, new trunk lid, new bumper reinforcement, new bumper, any broken sensors or electronics, and paint. I think the repair cost will be quite significant, close to the amount needed to total, but might come up short.
