flopping gas door
My gas door doesnt stay full open it just kinda falls back close with no resistance or detent to keep it fully open? Coming from a 2015 RC350 I know it didnt do that but the dealer told me it was normal for the LS500?

Mine does the same thing. It will not stay open. I have taken it to the dealership who ordered replacement door .... supposedly.... replaced the door (tightened bolt on the interior of the hinge arm) and for a short time there was a tighter hold on the door in the upright position. That did not last. It now just falls back to the closed position. If you place the cap on the door, then you must have the pump inserted to keep door open. It is annoying, and yet another quality oversight on the part of Lexus.
I love this car, but, all of these oversights that I have experienced make it hard to love
