When i connect my new Samsung S9 to my Lexus is350 (2015) the contacts do not load

Go into the setup in the car, then into the bluetooth settings and go into the contact/call history. Click update contacts. When you do this go into your phone and go into your contacts. At the top of your contacts there should be the 3 dots at the top right corner next to the search bar, tap that, and then tap share. Select all contacts you want to share with car (there is a select all tab), then tap share again. A little box should pop up with connection options. Tap bluetooth, it will then bring you to the bluetooth screen and you can select the device or vehicle you want to share the contacts with.

Usually hitting update contacts will initialize it, if not this is the LONG way to do it

Thanks LOLJasonW. Tried all that with no luck. I think it may be the security settings imposed through work. Still confusing though, as the previous phone had no problem.
