ISCjonny is BACK!!! Finally. Everything you guys asked for all in one thread.
3is front bumper conversion... wide body conversion... 2UR-GSE conversion... Yup. you read the last part right...
Back from the dead... After going on hiatus after 2012 due to..... LIFE! I finally decided to finish this build up.
Quick recap for those who are like... WhereTF did this guy come from? and a big HELLO again to those members who are still on here after these last 10 years....
Use to be super active on CL from 2007-2012. Helped host all the major NORCAL events as well as random mini-meets back in the days. Took the ISC to SEMA in 2012 and shortly after decided to take on the mother of all swaps everyone talks about. But in my case, it sorta made sense... well at least at the time. LOL. If I still had my IS350 sedan, then why would I do a motor swap when I could just trade in the sedan for an ISF. BUT, in my head I was like.. I have a 2 door ISC. I can't just trade in the ISC and go buy a 2 door ISF. At least that's how I justified it. Low and behold, bidded on a wrecked ISF from auction and somehow ended winning. IS350 motor came out... ISF motor went in. Piece of cake. Sure. putting the motor in was easy. Getting it to start was another story. Had to splice in half the ISF engine wire harness into the existing ISC harness and most importantly getting help to recode and VIN match all the ECU's so they could communicate and not trigger the immobilizers... we got it to start. Then LIFE happened..... and Project FDUPISC sat abandoned in my buddy's warehouse.
Fast forward 5 years..... Here's where we are. Aiming to wrap things up within this next month and do an official debut.
**UPDATE** 01-23-18
Dug up an old video of the ISC-F First Start after the ISF motor swap.
First Test Fit of RB Widebody kit and AGL wheels. Wheels specs seem to be on point, but looks like body shop drilled the holes 1/2" too low for the rear fender flares. Need to realign and redrill the Rivet Nut holes.

Welcome back...I'm one of those that took the last 5 or 6 years off of CL due to "LIFE" and kids too. Getting back into it recently with some conversions and general maintenance stuff on my IS250. Also been active on siennachat with my 2015 Sienna SE too.

This is exactly what I want to do! I currently have a normal is250 with a widebody kit however I’m really looking to trade it for an is250c so I can start modifying that instead 🙌🏼 These cars are so beautiful and with the bumper conversion nobody will be able to tell it’s 10+ years old
