Default Car dies immediately after turning off

I have a low mileage 2006 IS250 AWD. I put a new battery in 14 mos ago. During the past 60 day, many subzero in MN. The car is plain dead. I can jump it and it immediately starts with my wife's Jeep. I'll drive it for 10-15 mins. All fine. I turn it off and it is dead - literally the doors lock up and there's nothing. I just did it again now that it's 30 degrees. Thoughts?

Sounds like a charging problems. Is your battery light on while the car is up and running?

If you have a multi meter. Check voltage at the battery. I would also recommend getting your battery tested at a auto parts store.

Return your battery. Seems faulty. All branded batteries come with at least 2 year warranty. Branded batteries should be able to last through harsh winters.

I'll also warn you that if you keep trying to charge a dead battery with the alternator, you're going to need a new alternator if you don't already. Take your car to where you bought the battery and get a charging system test done.

Thanks to all that replied. Installed a new battery today (old was still under warranty) and it runs like a charm. I appreciate the club's response.
