Just purchased a 2008 IS250 28K Miles.
Hello everyone! I will be posting photo's and being on here on the regular. I just purchased a used 2008 IS 250 Non navi w/28k Miles from the Nissan dealership for 11.9k. I am very satisfied as this is my favorite car and it came w/a 2-Year 50K mile warranty.
Anyway, I have a question about the Aux input. I purchased a 3.5mm Headphone jack to be able to connect it through my aux connection but the connection is too small? The cable will not fit! Is it a different size input than the traditional 3.5mm?

Wow, everything is immaculate but i'm assuming the AUX is broken. Cable won't go but half way in and I know it's correct size as it fits my phone. This sucks =[

Silly suggestion, but worked on my daughters iphone.... for a broken aux tip inside the port, take a bic pen and pull the ink cartridge part out....
Flip it over (ink tip up toward the sky), Poke down the clear tube side into the aux port and it is just wide enough to actually grip the broken aux, jerk out quickly! good luck, worked for us on iphone, may work for you also

We had to replace our aux jack because we used a straight cable and repeated armrest closure eventually broke the small pcb electronics with aux port.
so invest in a right angle aux cable also

Kind of frustrated as the car has no bluetooth since it's the non-navi. I have an iPod connector in the glove box so i'm assuming I can get an ipod touch or something to use temporarily. I'm not very mechanical savy though lol.
Where would I get that piece you speak of in order to go down the AUX port?

Just tried your advice on the pen cartridge and I can't even get it in.. It's stopping shortly after putting into hole. I do not see anything but it's hard to really see because of the arm rest. I believe something is jammed down there I will probably have to go to one of the audio places in Miami

Can’t really be much help with the AUX issues but snagging a 9 year old car with such low miles is legit. That’s excellent, as long as the body isn’t rusted over. Gotta love old retired people who don’t drive..
