$9.99 LED install, better then you think.
Always wanted to swap the regular interior lights for something more updated looking like an LED. Took the plunge and ordered a cheap set of 10 LED bulbs on amazon for $9.99 Needed two sets to complete the job with lots left over. Overall I’m very pleased. Not to blue and not to dim
Link:
Install was a breeze. For the lights under the dash on both driver and passenger side I used a set of two LED bulbs I had from another project. They are slightly brighter but match on both sides which is what I was looking for.
I also changed the reverse lights with same bulb (photos to come later)

Nice, I'm thinking of doing this as well. Did you order a set of plastic trim tools as well?
Also, do you think the LED will work for the side view mirror puddle light?

you just need a trim tool to pop off the mirror, then remove 5 phillips screws that hold everything together. it should free the mirror housing and expose the puddle light under it. toggling lock and unlock on your key fob should trigger the puddle lights to come on and off.

The mirror in the above video is held in the same manner minus the metal prongs coming out of it.

It takes a little pressure. work your way from the top left corner. I've done this and it almost feels like you might break it, but once you apply enough pressure pulling it, you'll feel a clip detach. Once you get one from the corner, you can work your way with the others.

So I just installed the bulbs that OP linked on Amazon.
Theyre pretty nice, although they don't dim smoothly. It kind of flickers, but oh well for the price can't really complain.
