Toyota, the parent brand to Lexus, has over the years created so many vehicles for so many various roads in life. Unfortunately, the majority of those roads were more sedate than others. Let's take a look at and celebrate all of the times the brand has reached out for the brass ring of performance with these cars.

Saw a 2000GT once outside the Longo Toyota showroom. Longo was (and perhaps still is) the world's largest auto dealership, moving 250,000 cars a year. They are located in El Monte in Southern California.
Anyway, the sales guy said the 2000GT belonged to old man Longo, and it was a beautiful car. The only major publicity it ever got was in the Bond film "You Only Live Twice" and was the sports car driven by the Japanese female associate to Mr. Bond outside the corporate offices of the bad-guy-who-helped-Blofeld-and-was-later-fed-to-piranhas.
