Excessive wind noise from Sunroof repaired by dealer for free.
I recently got my car back from service and when i took the car in, i told my adviser how much wind noise comes in when the sun shade is retracted. They replaced the seal around the sunroof and adjusted the glass under warranty and now the car is extremely quiet with the shade open or closed.

I wish I had taken care of the excessive noise issue I was having while under warranty. It has developed into a obnoxious rattle over the smallest road imperfection. The dealer wants $700 just to disassemble the roof and diagnose the issue.

I had a rattle which was coming from the sunroof for my 2013 GS350 non-Fsport. After the dealer adjusted it (but not replacing the seals) last year, the rattle went away but now I am starting to notice windnoise more and more even with the shade closed. Should I take it in while the car is still under warranty?

Along these lines, any recommendation for the '14 models? I notice some wind noise on mine with the shade screen open, and noticed similar on other models I had test-driven. Since there's no TSB that I know of on the 2014....is it worth the hassle of getting it "fixed"?

This is a surprisingly long lasting annoying problem - I had the very same trouble in my former '10 GS 450h, and have exactly the same in my current '16 GS 450h.
"Pursuit of Perfection" and all that, so I don't understand why can't Lexus find a solution to this ongoing issue. I think this is embarrassing.
