There could likely be additional damage to the aluminium hidden beneath the leather & rubber.

this good to see because I use my wheel for support sometimes under higher G turns on the track

yes DCTMS have been very professional about this whole situation, I'm purchasing a new steering wheel from them I just have to decide if I want the silver top again or just black all the way around,

Also my steering wheel was shipped to Puerto Rico and it was not sold thru ClubLexus, new owner is well aware that the steering wheel is cracked and it most likely occurred due to a collision

I finally received my new DCTMS steering wheel and after inspecting it I came to the conclusion that the first steering wheel cracked because it was missing 2 brackets, now I don't know if the previous owner took them off before shipping the steering wheel to me or they where never there, either way it would be a good thing to look for if you are buying a used steering wheel

I am not sure my wheel had those brackets..can they be seen from the front?

I believe yours have those brackets here is a pic of my old steering wheel from the front

I am going to order one of these very soon . Just waiting for my Toms kit ...... Still no diffuser.
