Default So, you want your SC400 to be a 5-speed... Well I have the goods

Ladies and losers, I'm selling the parts and kit that I bought to swap a w58 in to my SC400. Now you, too, can own this kit, put it in your car, and be one of the cool kids on Club Lexus.

I have the complete Quantum Auto kit with brand new clutch, pressure plate, flywheel, adaptor plate, stainless steel clutch lines, Howe throw out bearing, master cylinder, SC300 full drive shaft, MKIV/SC stainless steel short shifter, 5-speed console bezel (with heated seat option), and even a MKIV tri-pod shifter!

What will you need in order to complete the swap? A transmission and a clutch pedal. That's it. Aside from some small miscellaneous hardware that can probably be identified by RedPheonix or Jake Breyck.

Thats right, I have all of this great stuff for sale. Its heavier than your mom so shipping will be a pain. Local pick up preferred. Asking $1500 O.B.O. For everything. The entire Quantum kit is brand spanking new, just like that condom you still have from 10th grade. The only parts that are not new are the tri-pod shifter, drive shaft, and master cylinder. Literally everything else is fresh out of the box or even still in the box.

If you pick up locally, I'll even give you a big blue ****ing box to put everything in! That's right, a BIG, BLUE f.cking box. Would ya just look at that!

Pics:

The whole kit-and-kaboodle: $1,500 plus shipping

Or, the whole Quantum kit (with the Howe Bearing), $1,000 plus shipping

SC300 Driveshaft: $150

Console Bezel: $50

Tri-pod shifter: $150, Stainless short shifter, $100, together, $225

Master cylinder: $50

Howe Throw-Out Bearing: $150

If possible, I want to keep the Quantum kit all together. Mainly because I bought it all for a lump price and I don't feel like digging to find out what each piece is worth. Also, they are all made to work together.

I also have a Nakamichi headunit in just about perfect condition, as well as a custom sub box made to fit in the trunk of the SC. Will take $50 for the Nak, $75 for the box. I'll get pictures later.

I can also be persuaded to trade you some of my golden goodies for a pair of LS or TT calipers, preferably with pads/rotors/brake lines attached...

Is this the steel or aluminum flywheel kit?

This is the steel flywheel.

I've just been advised that there is a sale right now at Quantum for the whole kit. So, in order to not be a D-bag and try to sell something for more than the manufacturer, I will include the $150 (BRAND NEW) Howe Throw-Out-Bearing on top of the new $900 price for only $100. So you get a $900 kit, plus a $150 bearing, for $1,000. Plus shipping.

In case anyone wants better pictures or to see the specs of the kit, here is the Quantum link:http://quantum-auto.com/store/index....emart&Itemid=1

Bumpity bump bump.

Price lowered to $1,500 shipped. That's right. You pay my asking price and I'll pay to ship it. All of it. Why? Because I'm such a nice guy. Also because I'm moving and I don't want to lug this big blue box of stuff across four states.

Would you look at that!

Guessing you're planning to sell the SC?

Sell the SC? That's just crazy talk. She was my first car. I've been through like a dozen others in six years and she's not going anywhere.

Just clearing out space and recouping some lost money. When I'm ready to build her up I won't be on a budget.

Still is it's wrapped.

But it didn't have a W58, because one of these fine people is going to buy this kit from me.
