I am selling a complete Used Genuine OEM Lexus IS-F Brembo Brake Caliper Set - Front and Rear (Calipers only and not Rotors, brake pads or brake lines).

I recently sourced these calipers from a car parts supplier online and were looking to fit these to my 2008 IS250, however, I am now considering upgrading my car to a near new 2009 or 2010 IS-F instead. These calipers were removed from a 2009 IS-F with 22k Miles as the owner had upgraded to a larger BBK brake set.

The calipers are in excellent condition however there are some minor paint chips & scratches (from normal wear and tear), which when installed on the vehicle will be barely visible. It would be easy enough to repaint the calipers or powder coat and install new decals to look like brand new.

These calipers will fit 2008-2010 IS-F's and I have also been advised that they will be able to fit the Lexus IS250's, IS350's and the Toyota Supra. If you are an IS250 and IS350 owner looking to upgrade, you will also be required to purchase and replace the front Hubs of your vehicle to the IS-F Hubs so that the calipers and rotors will fit properly. Also these calipers will not clear 17" stock IS250 Rims or some 18" stock IS250/IS350 rims. (* I will not be responsible for fitment issues so please do your own research if you are interested before you buy to see if these calipers will suit your car or whether further modifications are required.) I have done alot of research - so for those IS250 or IS350 owners looking to upgrade I am happy to provide you information on suppliers and the best prices I have found to purchase the other parts to complete your brake upgrade.

What is the benefit of this VS. other BBK such as F-sport, Rotora, Brembo?

 

nothing lol. just for looks. as kurtz has said MANY times, bigger brakes won't help you stop faster. the tires do that

 

its a big diff for stock + it looks kool

 

I'll take the rears if someone takes the front

 

Just polish the fronts too Mark...get them both.

The oem is-f calipers are made by Brembo so the benefits that you would get would be similar to installing other BBK brake sets such as Rotora, Stop Tech etc.

Im not an engineer but If you have a IS350/IS250 with stock brakes, I believe that you will feel a significant improvement in braking power of these is-f brakes. As a day to day driver the benefits maybe negligible (aside from the sportier looks of the BBK) but the real benefits will be seen if you track your car as these upgraded brakes will continue to perform consistently under harsh high performance conditions with less brake fade etc

 

I'll only be parting these as a set TrancEpimp. Buy both from me & sell the Fronts!=)

Does anyone know if these will work on a 3GS??

 

Sorry diablo I'm not sure if these calipers will be suitable for a 3GS however I have a suspicion that as they suit an IS350 that they should be suitable for your GS (as I believe the IS350 and the GS share the same front brake calipers).

I am happy to measure up and provide you with all the dimensions of the caliper set if you like to help you in determining if they will fit? Just let me know if you would like me to do this?

Unfortunately I cannot guarantee fitment so you would need to do your own research before buying.

I have done this set up on my 350 and love it. People are always staring at them at red lights. Let me know if you have any questions, I'd be happy to help. Keep in mind stock 250/350 spare will NOT work with these calipers.
