More. 2 dealers $2000 apart on trade 2024 350Luxury with around 1500m. Trade value is $45.
I posted elsewhere ... The windshield is cracked across the drivers view. Lexus does not have a replacement ...on backorder with no ETA. I should LemonLaw them... was told that won't work. Have to move on and take my chance buying another ...and I hate to give Lexus our business.... But I like the vehicle and most importantly the safety features.
Wondering if the FOB can be programed to function from 350 to 350h .... curious if anyone has any knowledge/experience with this

I said I was interested but could the allocate instead a 2025 redline/palomino with ML and still give me the $7,500 purchase discount. The told me NO and said there never was a $7,500 purchase discount. and changed the purchase order on the URL. But I had made a copy of the original purchase order with the discount and called them liars. The said they quit speaking to me because of my accusation. So, I am sticking with my cars I have for now. But my trade-in loss would have been a lot even with the $7,500 manufacturer's discount ,yes more like $20,000

Lexus inventory way up , trade-in way down.

Good Luck,

YMMV,

Enjoy what you have ... 350h Red/Pal is pretty. Who knows what the 450 would be like. I had one reserved last Sept but things did not work out and I'm not upset. As for the dealers >>> Nut and Bolts to them... your best friend when the check book is out.

You're swapping your car because of a windscreen crack?

Sound a little crazy? We made a decision and we move on...Let's call it a bad night at the track.

Can't drive it. Do not have a better plan. Who do we sue? Worst vehicle ownership I ever had. The only vehicle we really like size wise is the Macan and would have to come up with close to $45-50,000 plus the NX.
Alternative.... use an aftermarket windshield with uncalibrated cameras, sensors.
Back to the subject... FOB swap... anyone ?

You should be able to, but you're gonna get some side eye looks from your dealer.

IF the FOb was already programmed to your old car it can NOT be programmed to any other car. That unique key identifier (lets call it a mac address for lack of a term) is tied to that VIN on Lexus database.

I ran into this on my 2020 ES when I bought a fob from Ebay and it turned out to be used. I had to return it with a lot of hassle.

Seriously… somebody hates me. Anything goes. At my stage of life hopefully that’s my biggest problem. Anyway a windshield has been ordered... I should buy it and store it. If I never need it I could sell it in 60 seconds the way inventory has been going.
I had a 2006 Chevy SSR.. production was discontinued... so were the parts. Some guys bought a second SSR to borrow from if parts were needed.
My wife is comfortable with the NX and willing to try again... Me.. no way. It hurts to come back to Lexus after this. No spare. One fob, no glass if needed. It's sad they get away with it. The NX has a lot of great features... Sadly Lexus cheapened the pleasure of ownership... speaking for myself.

Sounds hope all is well. Have you tried any junk yard listings? I'm sure by now there has been alot of NX's in accidents. Maybe you'll get lucky.

You bet... I't'll be White/Palo..... replacing White/Red that I will miss. I love the red/black leather seats/interior. I think my favorite NX is a 350 Cloudburst/Red.

I hate that I'm really doing this swap... However it's late in life ...anything that can be replaced is a good deal.
