I recall a couple years back when I had an SC, there was a link to view build numbers and MSRP of all the SC years. I searched for this again but it seems like all the links are now dead. Does anyone still have this information? Also, is there a similar list with production numbers by paint code/year? Can't find that either.

Here's the paint codes and what years they were offered. I grabbed this off the ToyotaReference website a while ago. I think that site has merged with a bunch of others, and now they track paint codes for ALL Toyota brand vehicles as well as a few other makes and models

 

As far as I know, this doesn't exist. People have tried looking for this info, and even some people who work for Lexus have said they'll look into it. But is there any info posted anywhere? Not that I've seen. And I've been a member of ClubLexus since 2005.

I do know people are trying to compile a master list of all the 1997 5speed SC300s, and that includes colors.

 

That kind of information makes me horny, These links need to be remastered.

 

The two references above are the ones I recall seeing and I still use the paint code link regularly. It would be interesting to see model year numbers by color code but these cars being so old and many repaints change colors not sure it has much meaning.

I repainted our '92 in 2013 and stayed with the OEM color but even with that the mix was slightly darker (which I preferred).

 

​​​​​​​This is why I wonder where people are pulling such numbers when they say "There are only 53 RSP Lexus SC300 " or this much of this color and so on . I wish we know where people are pulling these numbers . I probably haven't spent enough time searching or I am just not searching well . So far I am empty handed on this search and I have been looking for a while.
