Interesting shot. Looks like an original First-Generation Mini-Cooper, either from 1959 (its introduction year) or somewhere in the early 60s.
That car's space efficiency was amazing. It could (reasonably) fit four small-to-average size adults into a car that would almost fit into the trunk of the average Cadillac or Lincoln of that period. That is, if the original 0.8L Mickey-Mouse engine could actually move the car with four people on board LOL.

Also that sign below kind of has me scratching my head. HALT is German for stop, not usually a world I associate with english, yet the rest of the sign is in English. I assume this was in England, still kind of weird wording on their sign.

What you see is what you get. That looks like just about the actual size of the 1Gen Mini. It was a true minicar...though a space-efficient one.

Halt, though of German origin, is also a word in the English language.
