Default Anyone running the Textar branded OEM brake pad instead of "Lexus" brake pad?

Anyone running the Textar branded OEM brake pad instead of "Lexus" brake pad? Are they exactly the same? The picture I'm seeing of the Textar pad on websites seems to have a strange cutout (upper left) of the friction material that I do not remember from my last change with the "Lexus" labeled Textar pads.
Amazon Amazon

Any experience? Thoughts? Could the stock photo of the Textar OEM just be incorrect?

Thanks!
Andy

^^I'm with scott610. I currently have a full set on right now with brand new front and rear rotors. It feels very sloppy compared to my previous brake pads. It also overheats rather fast. If it's just for everyday normal commute, it should be fine. If it's for semi fun times and everyday commute, skip it.

Unless you wanted to save money I can tell you they are not identical.

I don't think I want to give up the bite of a semi-metallic pad for a ceramic.

Textar has been and is the official supplier to BMW for their brake pads for a decade or more. Top notch company. I mean top.

Lexus has contracted them to supply the pads for Factory Lexus high friction 3IS F sport pads. So they likely supply for the IS-F as well.

In short, they're a premium top notch company and superior to any project-whatever or r!cer boy pads you might find people using.

Get them.

It's probably cause they are stock.

For the 3IS big brake F sport, the factory Lexus pads say Textar on them right out of the box.
