Even if my main headlights came HID stock? the fogs are h11 halogen? I googled the bulb specs and saw this thread

 

what do you guys think of this color scheme i had before? Now my left fog is out and my right lowbeam is out lol. thinking about doing the same colors

 

Oops, my bad, the fogs are 9006 on 06-10 IS's. Was thinking of my last car and my RX, lolz. The 2011+ IS's are h11 though.

But yeah, fogs are always halogen on the 2IS. AFAIK, manufacturers have never stuck HIDs in fogs because of glare. You'll only ever see halogen or LEDs in OEM fogs on other cars.

 

Do what I have done on previous cars where the headlights are HID and the Foggies are Halogen, use LED globes for the Fogs and then they all match.

If you actually need the fog lights to work for you and not just for show, stick with proper globes.

Here in Syd Aus we don't really ever get fog so it's all cosmetic for us.
