Default Lexus Logo Courtesy Light

So to start off - I get that some people on here might think that this is "ricer", but my buddy bought a set for his 3 series, and it looks really slick. I was wondering if anyone has tried this before. I think it'd be nice to have a Lexus logo projected on the ground when you open your door. I found the part on Amazon - seems like they have a bunch ranging from $8-$40. This one has a "lifetime warranty" too. Thoughts?

I think I've seen a few posts in the GS forum where this was done. It looks OK. A friend has a new Mercedes and it has a really cool projection that comes down from the puddle lights on the mirror. Interestingly, Amazon tells me these in your link won't fit my 2017 GS, but there are several vendors with similar LED replacements. Post pics if you do it. I'm still on the fence.

There are probably a dozen threads about the door courtesy lights for our cars. It's quite popular.

Here is one thread ► https://www.clublexus.com/forums/gs-...esy-light.html

I just purchased the same set (only 1 set for the front) and installed them last night. I got the one which projected Lexus F Sport and it looks nice in my opinion.
Purchased the set from Amazon. It comes with the regular Lexus logo. Made another purchase for $8 to change the projected logo to be the Lexus F Sport one.

Quick and easy install if you're wondering.

A lot of folks on here do that. Cheap and incredibly easy to install. If you like it just do it!

Can you provide a link to ones that will not distort the image- compensating for the light angle down to the floor?

You buy the projector/lens then you buy the custom logo insert for the projector. You have to supply them with the logo/text you want to use. I almost went this route and was designing my own "Lexus GS350" logo but decided to go a different route and just replace the bulbs with high output LEDs with no projector.

Not a huge fan, but I know that the new RX350(maybe just the f-sport) comes with them standard. Every loaner I've had from the dealer comes with them.

Are they really standard from the factory? I thought maybe the dealer was adding them on separately. I've read on the forum here that the projectors have the dealer's name in them as a means of marketing...
