It's a two-hours and $20 DIY job

I did not remove the calipers, I just masked all areas nearby and spray paint the calipers. Main reason is I don't know how to remove them, and even if I do, I wouldn't want to spend so much time taking them off and then put them back on.

Of course the look will be even better with bigger calipers. But I think the size is already ok, the main problem is, the F sport mesh wheels have too many spokes that block parts of the calipers, making them look on the smaller side. I can imagine if the wheels have fewer spokes, it would look better.

That was harsh and very blunt and probably would not have worded it like that since you said It I do agree with that. If you drive around Los Angeles you will see this mod done only on 1998 civics or integras with mariachi music blasting.

BUT not everyone will agree with each mod, so to each his own! Nice work.

Have a 2017 White RX350 Fsport and considering painting the calipers Red but feeling a bit anxious as I don't want it to look cheesy. Any thoughts?? If someone has done this please share a pic.

This is from a post a while back...if the calipers were larger it may look o.k., but looking at the photo on an F-Sport, I think it looks pretty gay.

Thank Bearcat - looking at the photo I think I agree with you - they are too small to draw attention to and distract from the rims.

Plus looks way better with lighter colored F Sport wheels.

There are brake caliper covers that my local ATL dealer offers. They are larger and look best from a distance. Get the ones that ‘bolt on’ rather than glue on.

I would not want them to accumulate ice and snow underneath...

Could be something to consider. I am not sure how deep the cover goes over the caliper.

Have you noticed whether the wheels stay cleaner, from brake dust, with these covers? Or is it just hype?
Thanks.

That's pretty cool. No brake fade?

I have not purchased them. The dealer’s price was much more than the web site price. I suspect that that could be installed at home. The pictures are from the F-Sport at the dealership.

They do look better from a distance. There are some that glue on but these bolt on. They add some size to the brake calipers. I think that come in different colors as well.

Default Anyone paint their calipers?

I’m looking for some color ideas for my 2019 pearl white F-sport with 20’s.

Im getting the OEM wheels powder coated as I dislike darker wheels. I like a bright silver wheel.

Post up if you do!

Has anyone tried to upgrade the brake calipers on 4RX like the ones that the GS has for the F Sport.
