You definitely baby your car !! How many miles on it? Being in Hawaii it must be tough to not be able to go on hours-long cruises on the interstate in this beauty. But I am sure the drives on the coastal highways must be very enjoyable.

I just crossed the 10k mark a few weeks ago.

Wow, practically new! Being in Hawaii, I can understand why you can't put more miles on it. But I am a bit puzzled by the garage queens on the mainland. I read on a thread today of a 2011 with 23K miles on it

Yeah between my Lex and Tacoma it's hard to put on miles when my daily commute is 14 miles round trip.

Mine has just turned 30k, a 2010 model. Had 13,800 on it when I bought it in 2014. My commute is 7.2 miles round trip. But I don't drive the Lex every day.

Hi Jason, you are not spending enough quality time with your car . I calculated that you have spent no more than 15 hours per month driving your car, probably less. Your car is beautiful to behold, and maybe you enjoy looking at it more than driving it, but I am sure your car wants to be driven . Are you planning to sell it eventually? If that's the case, then your low mileage would be a positive.

Wash the car and apply Aerolon TechShine
Blow dry car and dry with microfiber towels.
Thank You! I've never heard of Aerolon TechShine, but will tell you that I'm going to give it a try. It appears to be pretty easy to use too.

That's one of the best combinations that you can have in that it's easy to apply and it works..not too mention that it;s priced well too.

Thanks again!

Not to worry, given he is in the Atlanta metroplex, those 7.2 miles can often entail 5 hours of quality time in his LS! Hopefully, the 7.2 miles are not too cruel.

I actually may sell it sooner than I have planned. I'm thinking a '14 F-Sport might be in my future. I have a feeling that the rev-matching (that I've heard it does) when manual shifting it down would sound AWESOME with my Exhaust Vents. But then I think about how much of a cream puff my car is, and how reliable. I don't know. If an enticing offer came along, maybe I would part with it. The longer I keep it, the closer I am to purchasing a Viper ACR!

I'm in Atlanta metro sure enough, but I'm in an OASIS, isolated from "that mess." I live, work and my sons go to school in Peachtree City. If the stars align just right, and the 2 traffic lights I drive through are green, I can be driveway to parking spot (and vice-versa) just under 5 minutes! You remember that show that was out for a while, I think it was, 'Under the Dome?' PTC sometimes seems like it is under a dome. It is a very nice place to live. Right down to driving the golf carts all over town, and through drive-thrus. Was the best move I've made.

The next time im in Atlanta, I've gotta try to hook up wit you!
I've been meaning to hook up with Tee and CJITTY but I never do.
My parents live in Dallas (they are in the process of trying to relocate to PTC, and have family in Vinnings, Powder Springs, Marietta, Alpharetta, Duluth and Lawrenceville.
PTC is a very nice place to live and indeed it is "away" from all of the "mess" that riddles much of metro Atlanta.

I no ... I don't do that. Not on the first date anyway...

I look forward to it. I'm not as scary as I was 6 months ago. Let me know, I'll see if "my peeps" want to get together too. I love those guys.
I was, a BIG SCARY MONSTER. I'm 68 pounds down now though. And will keep going til I hit 100 pounds down. And then ... I don't know. It's getting bad already. The women at the grocery store are already looking me up and down. But I'm not complaining.

Good ole PTC. Two of my roommates from UGA were from there and I had several other friends from there. The first time I went there, it blew my mind with all the golf cart trails. Had an absolute blast doing the foolish things that 19-20 year olds do when combined with golf carts and all manner of off the beaten path trails.

Indeed, being that far South of Atlanta, traffic is not the horror it is for those poor souls who commute from say Canton or even Marietta for that matter from the city every day.
Cannot imagine spending well over an hour each way to and from home. At least when traffic moves, driving even 65 will most likely get you runoff the road! Wish the same could be said once you get South of Macon...

Aha, Jason, I see your grand plans for the car, I guess you want to get maximum value for the 2010 LS. If you really want to preserve the car in pristine condition, since everything (work, school) is so close to home, why not just drive golf carts everywhere??
