Default Anyone use the OPT7 LED as a DRL?

Not sure these are anything special, but seem to have really good reviews. https://www.amazon.com/OPT7-Headligh...ct_top?ie=UTF8
Though I heard anything with LED is bad for the high beam?

In my old IS I ran LEDs as the low beams, high beams and fogs without issue. On my new IS i have them as high beams and fogs (not low beams since these were HIDs from factory). Never had any issues with them.

These are the ones I just just in my CT.. http://www.ebay.com/itm/201612869753?_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT
I would stay away from LEDs with fans built in, they break overtime and will lead to overheating. Make sure you go fan-less and you will be happy with them.

I want something like that in the pic, but I heard your high beam quality will be lowered.

LED fogs vs HID low beams

^ I recommend bulbs that look like that. Those are what I'm running currently on my IS. The Cree LEDs have better output versus the SMDs you posted.

What bulb are you trying to swap? You will need a resistor for pre-2011 high beams as the DRL was the high beam at 30% power resulting in strobing. All others can be swapped plug and play.

Do they come with the resister? Is it hard to put in? I will also be getting an hid kit and led parking lights so that all my lights are white instead of that ugly yellow.

Is this all that's needed for drldrl andand hhigh beam? Don't I need a resister or whatever it is?

Not that hard to put in, depending on oyur hand size you may need to remove the air box on the passenger side and washer fluid on driver's side to give you enough clearance but it's just changing a bulb. You still need a resistor which is not included, downside is that it takes away your high beam function. Maybe I had the wrong resistors but I always noticed a subtle strobing when they were installed. I used to always leave my low beams on which in turn shuts the DRLs off. If you go that route you do not need a resistor but as soon as you shut the low beams off you will strobe when the DRLs kick back on.

I bought some VipMotoz Headlights and they use H1 as highbeam, wondering if these are okay to go with? https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00SZK1VXC...ing=UTF8&psc=1
